Corona Virus Update - Information For Our Distributors

In light of development regarding COVID-19 outbreak, which continues to spread across the world at an alarming rate, we would like to proactively provide you details and additional transparency around our supply chain.

At an unprecedented time like this, it is more important than ever to ensure our distributors that we will continue to offer our services as well as deliver our hemostats to meet our distributors’ demands.

GELITA MEDICAL participates this week at the 136th Congress of the German Society for Surgery in Munich. Four speeches will be presented on Wednesday morning. Surgeons will report on their experiences with innovative hemostats as GELITA TUFT-IT® in different surgical procedures. Read more in the program.
GELITA MEDICAL at the 135th Congress of the German Society of Surgeons 2018
GELITA MEDICAL participated together with its German distribution partner at the 135h Congress of the German Society of Surgeons (DGCH) from 17th to 20th April 2018 at the exhibition center in Berlin. The annual convention of the DGCH takes place every year alternately in Munich or Berlin and is considered as the most important surgical event in Germany. The congress addresses current topics to doctors from the clinic and practice of all surgical areas as well as employees in the nursing and surgery service.
During the 4 days event GELITA MEDICAL had the opportunity to welcome surgeons, nurses and OR staff members from all regions of Germany and from different surgical specialties. Some international visitors attended the DGCH and showed big interest in GELITA MEDICALs innovative hemostats. Just as during previous events, especially GELITA TUFT-IT®, its handling benefits and performance in different procedures attracted the attention of surgeons. Big interest was shown in performing tests with TUFT-IT® in surgical trials.

GELITA MEDICAL at the 67th ESCVS Congress 2018 in Strasbourg
GELITA MEDICAL participated together with its French distribution partner at the 67th Congress of the European Society of Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery (ESCVS) in Strasbourg. The congress took place from 12th to 13th April 2018 and is a platform for education, investigation and collaboration for all specialists in the field of cardiac and vascular surgery.
During the 2 days event GELITA MEDICAL had the opportunity to welcome not only visitors from Central Europe at our booth but also surgeons from India, Sri Lanka, Russia, United states and other countries.
Especially GELITA TUFT-IT® and its handling benefits and performance in cardio-vascular procedures attracted the attention of international surgeons.
About ESCVS:
The ESCVS is the oldest society in Europe in the cardiac and vascular surgical field. The congress is a platform for education, investigation and collaboration for all specialists in the field of cardiac and vascular surgery.
The German newspaper MANNHEIMER MORGEN recently published an article about GELITA MEDICAL. Especially GELITA TUFT-IT attracted their attention.

LINC Congress 2018 Leipzig, Germany
GELITA MEDICAL was present at the LINC congress in Leipzig beginning of February 2018, where over 4,000 international cardio-vascular and vascular surgeons were present. LINC is the leading congress in interventional radiology. GELITA MEDICAL presented GELITA TUFT-IT® and GELITA-SPON RAPID³ to the audience in the innovation forum by means of experience report presented by Dr. Vanhulle (early user of TUFT-IT® and RAPID³). GELITA MEDICAL received overall positive feedback from many interested surgeons and first results are already visible.
